I considered launching a podcast several times over the past few years. However, I had been a guest on half a dozen shows, so I recognized the enormous amount of effort and time that hosting a podcast entails. It’s a lot of work. The work would be interesting, but my hesitance was due to a lack of time. I have too many fires on my iron.
Then I was a approached by a young fellow here in Calgary, a casual acquaintance in the beekeeping world. We met a couple months ago. He asked if I’d like to co-host a beekeeping podcast. He would take half the work, so why not?
So, the friend – Bidzina Mosiashvili – lined up a studio while I researched the topics and created script outlines. Bidzina is the technical/recording producer and has been loading our chats to our YouTube videocast. Meanwhile, I created the podcast space, found an appropriate platform and edited the audio for the podcasts. Watch our videos if you can put your feet up, otherwise let the podcasts entertain your ears while you are driving, working, or in need of a quick bedtime sedative.
Bidzina and I make a good presentation combination. Bidzina is young and in the start-up years of his life and his beekeeping; meanwhile, after 65 years of bee infatuation, I am phasing out of life and out of bees. Our differing perspectives on everything from bees to philosophy, climate, business, religion, native species, history, literature, and unorthodox beekeeping habits make a lively, interesting discussion on those wide-ranging, fascinating subjects. Bidzina’s refreshing ideas make this podcast great. He’s not afraid to ask simple questions and then, a moment later, make profoundly deep comments.
On August first, we launched these four episodes:
1) Our introduction to the About Bees podcast;
2) A look at the ridiculous myths a lot of us beekeepers believe;
3) The savagery of robber bees from Leo Tolstoy's perspective; and,
4) A discussion about whether bees feel pain. (Sorry, you have to listen to that podcast to find out what happens in a bee's brain when it gets injured.)
A new episode will be set free every week until all the bees in the world go extinct. Then, during mankind’s final four years, we will podcast about Einstein or something.
The About Bees, Culture & Curiosity podcast is easy to find on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, GaanaAndroid, Deezer, or wherever you have entrusted your listening habits. Just search About Bees, Culture & Curiosity.

Human stupidity is our greatest threat!
Honeybees use a science that science ‘suppressed’ in 1858 and Religion ‘banished’ for over a 1000 years.
Honeybeees need, sense and use a part of ‘Microcosmos-Quantum-Physics’ known as ‘Schumann-Resonance’ and used by NASA successfully for over 50 years to keep astronauts alive in zero-gravity.
It is for this reason why 75% of colonies in domesticated care ‘die’ early or are susceptible to Varroa or Diseases where wild/feral colonies are not and live for decades!

The hidden secret known only to you, NASA, and about sixty million fans of the amazing health benefits of either sleeping under the Schumann-Resonance Electromagnetic Holistic Energy Curtain, or avoiding sleeping under it, depending on the pseudoscience that one follows.
John, I just finished reading your book, An Holistic Way In Saving The “Honeybee”. What an amazing journey. I notice that you are not surprised that the scientific community has totally rejected your thesis. You might have a stronger case with data, published methodology, repeatability, and with an understanding that electromagnetic frequency vibration is not acoustic vibration. The former deals with light/radiation (e.g., vision), while the latter concerns physical vibration (e.g., sound).

I do not wish to be rude, insult or attack in any way but to respect and enhance your knowledge of beekeeping you do not fully understand completely why approximately 75% of domesticated colonies are infested with Varroa or dying unnecessarily unlike Varroa-Resistant wild/feral colonies not using any chemicals to deal with a man-made problem…………
I am not ready to go public with my research or New FREE-AI-APP helping humanity and all species in domesticated care.
However…………….I do not want to get into a war of words in the public domain, I can prove in person only, but here is a brief response to your skepticism!
Thank you for promoting my badly written book that used incorrect terminology ‘gleaned‘ from an ‘alleged’ expert giving permission to use, although the content is correct, the terminology is not, (identified after publication), many thousands of beekeepers have used and agreed, making their hives ‘Varroa-Resistant’ just like wild/feral colonies, to prove to themselves it works, because ‘honeybees’ do not lie, unlike science, thereby proving it is nothing to do with specie but an invisible world all bees see or sense looking through ‘compound-eyes‘ a known science called many different names, we, humanity, cannot see, (all wildlife see or sense) rather than being dismissed by the science community, hence why my next book explains in more detail, if or when published.
It is for this reason why I have never ‘self-promoted’ my badly written book to increase sales, but to further expand my independant knowledge and research, using ‘honeybee-colonies’ as a barometer, to include the correct terminology that science will agree and accept, albeit confirmed by NASA Houston in a private visit proving all species use Schumann-Resonance for survival, we, ‘human-science’ do not consider in any experiments, case-studies, scientific-papers or other inconclusive science research by not using an invisible world we cannot see.
Beekeepers hate being told they are wrong, specifically those attached to elite-academia-education, having a title of Professor, Doctor, PhD or Fellow that are ‘analytically-paralysed’ within their own believes or incomplete education to not use a known science, science ‘suppressed’ from 1858 that religion ‘banished’ this science for over a 1000 years calling ‘witchcraft’, thereby proving science do not use all sciences within any evaluation or diagnosis, which is why ‘honeybees’ can prove and ‘defy’ The Laws of Physics to be incomplete, science refuse to acknowledge or use within any experiment, hence why ‘scientific-papers’ or ‘science-studies’ are ‘flawed’ and/or ‘inconclusive’ by not using the survival needs ‘all-bee-species’ need and seek the invisible Microcosmos-Quantum-Physics (MQP) science has only just realised it’s existence looking through the images from The James Webb Telescope, although ‘honeybees’ has used MQP very successfully for millions of years to stay alive, that is until humanity found honey, 10,000 years ago, ‘liked-it’ to move nests from perilous positions to ground level away from their survival needs into clay, straw, the misinterpreted ‘horizontal’ logs, eventually beehives as the ‘bee-space’ was observed. This is one of those moments of observation to prove correct 100% beekeepers have got wrong for 10,000 years!

I found your book, An Holistic Way In Saving The Honeybee to be a very amusing read, except for the parts where you write that your wife divorced you because you are a beekeeper. I am sincerely sorry to learn about that.

When you know more of my ‘in-depth’ proven independent research you may want to consider for your own health, you mentioned in your email response, because it can be proved 1 in 4 people are ‘misdiagnosed’ by any doctor, (from 1858) due to not using Schumann-Resonance within any evaluation, diagnosis, medication or treatment to protect the ‘Pineal-Gland’ while you sleep, but then why would NASA use successfully for 50 years to keep astronauts alive in zero-gravity?
