Bad Beekeeping Blog 
Doing well so far Ron, but then again the White Dutch had already gone to seed in the intense heat of last week. Now that we’ve finally gotten some rain, it may actually start up again (but likely not in time for ‘Don’t Step on a Bee Week’; )
the Trefoil’s taller, so you’d be more likely to kick a Bee, than actually step on it… ; )

I haven’t been stung while beekeeping in quite a while, then on Sunday I was walking barefoot in our backyard and literally stepped on a bee. Quite the stab of pain, and I lifted my foot and saw the stinger. I pulled it out but I was hobbled for a day. Ouch.
I blame the holiday!
